Instrumentation is defined as "the art and 'science' of measurement and control". Instrumentation can be used to refer to the field in which Instrument technicians and engineers work, or it can refer to the available methods of measurement and control and the instruments which facilitate this.

1.)    B.E in Instrumentation Technology from R.V.College of Engineering, Bangalore, one of the best institutions in Karnataka for engineering education. R.V.C.E is known for over 40 years in imparting quality Engineering Education to meet the Technological advances and Industrial requirements matching with Global Standards.

 

During this course I got exposure in the following broad domains:-

2.)    Certified Instrumentation & Automation Technologist by the Instrumentation Systems & Automation Society (ISA). Founded in 1945, ISA is a leading, global, nonprofit organization that is setting the standard for automation by helping over 30,000 worldwide members and other professionals solve difficult technical problems, while enhancing their leadership and personal career capabilities. Based in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, ISA develops standards; certifies industry professionals; provides education and training; publishes books and technical articles; and hosts the largest conference and exhibition for automation professionals in the Western Hemisphere.

 

3.) Certified LabVIEW Associate Developer by National Instruments, one of the leading Data Acquisition companies in the world. LabVIEW is the most widely used software for all kinds of Industrial applications ranging from PC based Data Acquisition systems to FPGA & DSP based embedded systems.

 

4.)    Awarded as “iLabVIEW Champion of the Year 2006”, by National Instruments in December 2006 at the event NI-Days held in Leela Palace, Bangalore. iLabVIEW is a forum for LabVIEW users all over India to discuss and solve problems in LabVIEW programming.

Languages & Places visited

Languages & Places Visited – I can speak 5 languages i.e. English, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil & Basic Japanese. I was born in Andheri, Mumbai in 1984 and brought up in Delhi then. After finishing my schooling in New Delhi I went on to explore South India for my Engineering Degree in Instrumentation Technology from one of the best colleges in Karnataka, R.V.College of Engineering. I have visited lot of other places in India some of which are Kulu Manali, Nainital, Mussoorie, Jaipur, Tamil Nadu, Kerala & Andhra Pradesh.
